Gift articles on UConn's speed & Morgan Cheli

You can never have too many weapons. Welcome back Morgan! I can't wait to see the standing ovation when she takes to the court in her first official game back next season.

Thank you for sharing! Excellent work by Maggie. The Huskies’ pace of play has gone turbo this year. Even their half court offense is quicker because they running more simple actions than sets.

Cheli is a winner. Glad she is healing. Can’t wait to see her hit the court next year.

Still no mention of whether or not Cheli's going to take a red shirt.
I believe Geno mentioned that she would not be back this season, so if she hasn't played in a game all season long due to inury, why wouldn't she take this season as a red shirt?

I don't know. I'm simply saying there is no mention of a decision. Now as noted above I guess she doesn't have to make one for a couple years.

I suppose she could graduate and leave with her classmates, but I'm going to assume that she will want to work on her game under Geno for the full four years before trying to make it to the WNBA......

If she doesn’t play at all this season, she doesn’t need to take a red shirt. She would automatically have three years of eligibility left without having to do anything.
