I'd love to see something more than anecdotal evidence that Boatright has some issue with passing to Giffey.

You have it wrong. The person who needs to trust Giffey more is Giffey.

End of first half, Bazz sets Giffey up, but Giffey won't shoot because he sees the defender closing and doesn't want the shot. So Omar takes a tougher shot late in the shot clock, and everyone is pissed at Omar.

And the one before that - the one that started the 18-0 run. That was a Boat drive and kick out to Giff. He did it again later in the half, but Giff didn't shoot.

Not concerned about the plays you are referring to. His movement on offense in the second half was totally different than the first half even though the scoring was comparable. He hesitates a bit too much. He plays too conservatively.

The second half Gif was a beast. The first half guy was a dweeb.
