How can a experienced player be so bad with the ball in the last 5 minutes of a game

This thread would have been novel 2 months ago. It's sad that the fan base is 2 months ahead of the coaching staff in acknowledging this.

He has the instinct but not the ability to make it happen. He needs to find an open spot and hope the ball finds him. He cannot create his own shot. His needs to accept this limitation.

BTW, he is not overrated and awful. He has a great skill set. He just needs to use it and not try to do more than he can achieve.

If only we had a true point guard on the roster who can get to the rim. Wait, I think......

This is the 3rd or 4th time we've had this discussion and it's gotten tiresome. Gibbs is clearly not a PG but Ollie seems to enjoy forgetting this fact, and the team struggles each time he does. Give 'in keys to Jalen and live with the result, because we've seen plenty of evidence of what happens when we don't. All this said, game is over if Brimah doesn't fumble that ball away. The guy is completely one dimensional and one of the most overrated players in the country.

The bigger question is why hasn't he played like he did at SH last year? The talent is there, he is surrounded by better talent but his performance has diminished in comparison. Something ain't right and I'm not so sure its all on him.
