It's funny. During the UConn-ND Final Four game Holly Rowe mentioned that Geno and Kobe became friends at the Olympics.

Now, some of us conspiracy theorists have felt that being the National Team coach might be a recruiting advantage. I just never thought that befriending NBA stars with daughters would be the mechanism!

Right! This sort of publicity thing with little girls sure gives Geno a leg up in recruiting elite blue chip players. It certainly has payed off with Mo'ne Davis. Some team will surely turn him into the NCAA for disciplinary sanctions.
