Aminu in the NBA? He can't shoot
FWIW, Mohammed isn't on The Athletic's Top-100 Draft Big Board. It would be foolish for him to go pro.

Incoming:
  • Brandon Murray from LSU, 6'5 215, 10p, 3r, 1.9a, 1s, 34.8 3p%, 4 years eligibility remaining
  • Wayne Bristol from Howard, 6'6 185, 12.5p, 4.3r, 1.8a, 40 3p%, 4 years eligibility remaining
  • Denver Anglin, 6'2 165, #78 prospect of '22
  • D'Ante Bass, 6'6 188, #218 prospect of '22
Projected Returnees:
  • ????Aminu Mohammed, 6'5 210, 13.7p, 8.2r, 1.8a, 1.6s, 31 3p%, four years eligibility????
  • Dante Harris, 6'0 170, 11.9p, 3.6r, 4.1a, 1.5s, 27.5 3p%, three years eligibility
  • Ryan Mutombo, 5.1p, 3r, 0.9b, 11.8 mpg, #84 prospect of '21, four years eligibility
  • Collin Hollloway, 6'6 220, 9.2p, 35.6 3p%, three years eligibility
  • Jordan Riley, 6'4 195, 12.8 mpg last season, #146 prospect of '21, played 9 games last season (Shoulder)
  • Malcolm Wilson, 10.4 mpg, 2.5p, 2.8r, 0.9b, 64.3 fg%, two years eligibility

Departing Graduates:
  • Donald Carey, 13.5p, 4.4r, 2.9a, 1.5s, 38.8 3p%
  • Kaiden Rice, 11p, 36.8 3p%
In the portal:
  • Jalin Billingsley, 2.1p, 10.8 mpg, #191 prospect of '21
  • Tyler Beard, 12.3 mpg, #147 prospect of '21
  • Tim Igohoefe, 15.6 mpg, 2.8p, 5.7r, 1b, 42 fg%
  • Kobe Clark, 4.9 mpg, #362 prospect of '20
When you look back a bit, things don't look as bad as they did when the season ended.

If the season started today, they'd have a lineup of:

PGs: Harris, Anglin
Guards/Wings: Mohammed? Murray, Holloway, Bristol, Riley, Bigs/Forwards: Mutombo, Wilson, Bass

Even if Mohammed goes pro, they can start right now with a four-out lineup of Harris, Murray, Holloway, Bristol and Mutombo. Another 2-guard and a veteran big would be super helpful.

I believe Mohammed will test the process, get feedback and return to Georgetown. If he stays and they have no more defection’s they will be middle of the pack which is a big upgrade compared to this year.

I coveted Anglin last year. He was the best deep shooter I saw, and, played solid point guard at the same time. In this day and age I can still hope he eventually plays for us.

Me too. Gave me those vibes of when I was hoping Ollie/staff would offer/prioritize Myles Powell! Love bucket getters.
