I just received this info from the Georgetown Athletic ticket office:

“The January 22nd game against the Connecticut Huskies will be played again at CareFirst Arena. Ticket details are being finalized. Please sign up for our email list to be notified when tickets go on sale.”

If I can be permitted to shift the venue, the box office at Seton Hall says tickets for the UConn game (Jan. 25, 2026) will go on sale on November 3 ($50 each). Tickets for all other individual home games go on sale on a different date.

Got Georgetown tickets for myself, spouse, and son who lives in DC. I'd been checking almost daily if tickets were available. I thought they'd come out this week since that was around the same time I bought tickets for the game last year.

Ok, so I got mine from seat geek in section 204. I guess this is behind the press area between the benches one section back.

There really isn't a bad seat. The arena only seats around 4000+.

The crowd is apt to be mostly UConn fans anyway, if past games there are any indication. It will also be Azzi's last UConn game there and she's from the area.

As a somewhat off topic side note, the Mystics are moving some of their home games to Fairfax's Eagle Bank Arena (on the George Mason campus) and Baltimore's CFG Bank arena. Both have more seating than Carefirst arena.

Eagle Bank holds 10,000 and CFG Bank Arena holds 14,000. I wonder if they will fill those venues?

I believe the move to those two Arenas in 2025 were because Capital One Arena in Downtown DC (home of the Capitals and Wizards) is undergoing a multi-year construction project and they were doing work this summer. Not sure if the arena will be unavailable next summer as well, but I believe that is part of the reason they used the George Mason and Baltimore arenas for the bigger games in 2025.

Makes sense. Also exposes the team to a bigger marketing area.
