What is up with the Georgetown advertisement on this web forum?

It is called a "retargeting ad". You have most likely visited the Georgetown Athletics Website and maybe even looked on their tickets page. Retargeting ad's recognize that and then place ads on the web at sites you visit to re-engage you and hope you buy their products. We do the same thing here at Navy Athletics. Pretty advanced stuff.
