Geno's post-game interview - your take?

Had the feeling from his on court interview at game's end that he was feeling a bit of confidence about taking Muffet off her tuffet on her home court? (As one who never has an inkling about how to forecast a score or a game outcome, I was surprised at the impression with which I left that interview.) Did others read him the same way, or was I out on my own limb as usual?
