If you read between the lines it's obvious he feels Syracuse and Pitt were approached by the ACC not the other way around.

That's pretty much what everyone on the board is in agreement with- they were approached and jumped at it. What's hard to believe is that SU and Pitt did not know that the other had been invited. I believe that the presidents of each university talked to each other before accepting.
