Geno to open restaurant in Storrs Center

I just saw some pictures of its progress. Wow...looks incredibly different. Storrs Center is such a great thing for the university. I almost want to go back! :D

I wonder if if it will actually be Geno's retaurant or if he is just part of an investment group. The only celebrity named restaurant I've ever been in where the person was actually there was Sonny Bono's restaurant in Palm Springs in the early 90's.

You mean JC never served you beers at the old Coach's???

BTW, Geno was a clue on Jeopardy last night. The answer given was "University of Connecticut". Alex followed-up by saying "UConn!"

Storrs Center will make Storrs & UConn much less of a hick town that one of our favorite PC trolls, Sean, accuses Storrs of being.

I wonder if GA will invite JC to join the ownership group

Storrs is a hick town, thanks to the locals. Has there even been a college town with less cooperative townies?

This is great for Stoors. For single men, I expect the ladies to be showing up big time.

Yup, if you like 'em big, tall and athletic...

I predict Geno's restaurant will be so much better than the others in Storrs Center, that people are going to get bored of its success and stop showing up.

Or the food will just be so bland and boring that once you've had one meal there, you've had them all, so there's nothing interesting to go back for.

Al Lewis' restaurant in the village.

This project will be great for Storrs, which previously pretty much included the campus and Teds.

Bobby V is/was frequently at his restaurant in Stamford before getting the Red Sox job.
