Beautifully stated! Usually the very best one can hope for is to be in the mix, the game each and every year! That's spoiled just about everyone here because that's become a given! Not only have we been in the mix, we've been the drink, probably the game itself. So sooner or later, probably when Geno & CD leave there has to be a drop off. Let's just then again hope to be strongly competitive every or almost every year, and if by some terrible combination of events we are not some year, the world will still go on! I totally believe the next coach and coaching staff will be an excellent group. They will strive for the excellence that's become expected here. If and when they fall a bit short, let's shoot for learning to live with and be happy with how good that still might be! Obviously the person who changed women's basketball and sports, Pat Summitt set this bar so very high. U Conn worked its butts off to initially even begin to compete with Tennessee and then become a true equal. Amazingly then to pass that lofty dream behind. Things run in cycles and rarely if ever do they last thirty plus years in anything. Let's SAVOR it and hope it lasts as long as possible. Then hope for approximating it, which in and of itself, would be a tremendous accomplishment, even when ones sad for what's still not quite there. But we are not even there yet, so let's enjoy the ride and remember the process, not just the end result. Bronx23
