Reread his post and take his capitalized sentence in context of some of the common responses made in this forum. His second sentence is preemptive of those statements. OTOH Deepster has not disappointed.

Geno has made statements about women's basketball not being the same sport as men's basketball. For some reason Woof made a post about Neanderthals so I asked him/her if Geno is a Neanderthal? Woof called me a Neanderthal for asking the question.
All Deepster did is point out to the OP/Mods there is another board to discuss the women's team? Does that make him a Neanderthal too?

I'm sure I'm viewed as such....but there is a never-ending plight by some people here who think Geno's opinion somehow matters to the men's team.

That is between you and woof. Just explained his original statement seems clear to me. Personally I felt his statement asserting some Boneyarders are like Neanderthals is insulting to Neanderthals.
