Wow. Wow. Wow. Wish I could think of something a little more erudite to describe some of my feeling watching the ladies last night but just a little drained at the time. I can sum it up by saying that when the game was over and we were in the herd while exiting you never saw so many smiles on so many people since Christmas morning. A couple of thought. During the first quarter some unseen force placed seranwrap over our basket, preventing layups, foul shots and three pointers from entering. When the "Double A's came in the tenor of the game seemed to change and the crowd immediately realized it, growing more vocal as they recognized what was happening. I don't remember the Lady Huskies ever throwing their bodies around like they did last night. Every loose ball was fought for by both teams but we seemed to get the most of them. The other thing that stood out was that we appear to have a new "enforcer". When Chrystal went down after what appeared to be a loosely thrown elbow by one of the Tennessee players Anna, running straight forward with her dribble, crashed into a Tennessee player knocking her to the floor. Intentional? Perhaps not. Message delivered? Definitely.
