I think what made it unanimous was winning with with a sorely depleted roster. Otherwise, with a full roster I could see Louisville's Walz getting some votes.

Like ChicagoGG said, this is just ESPN's picks. But, who else in the American would deserve it??

For their other conference choices, I'm willing to bet they got at least one wrong. Don't know which one or more, but I think the Oregon State coach and Wes Moore are especially vulnerable. Mulkey over Carey??? I am sure they got Staley right.

I like Kim and think she is a good coach, but ... I think ESPN dropped the ball on the Big 12 and in the process showed how inconsistent they are - ACC Moore because he takes a dog and turns it around vs. undefeated Muffet, Big 12 - Kim over Carey who took a dog and tied for the conference championship.
