Geno Compares Kelly to Jamelle

I love how Geno always honors the past when talking about current Huskies.

"I have to tell you this, there is only one player, those of you that remember, that has ever played at the University of Connecticut that I think comes close and is probably in the same category who is not an All-American. And when you put Kelly Faris in the same breath as Jamelle Elliott, you know you got something special," Auriemma said.

Kelly finished very high on the UConn career list in rebounds, assists, and steals. What a stat stuffer! And winner!

She never lost a post-season game in 8 years to any team other than Notre Dame.
