Unlike many leaders of powerhouse programs in college basketball, or most other sports, Auriemma isn’t afraid to play the best of the best, especially on the road. This stretch will show everybody what this team is made of before the lulls of the conference season begin, where 40 and 50-point victories will be the norm. At least one loss, if not more, should be expected. There’s nothing wrong with that—Geno seems to believe it might even be beneficial.

That response from Geno--It's good for women's basketball anyway! Was a shot at the press and pundits and others who in their ignorance think a bland brand of WBB should be the norm.
If you think Geno like losing--watch him in tight games when his team is playing poorly or losing---he puts his right hand index finger vertically across his lips and his chin rests on the rest of his hand--that's his TELL. Most if not all games he has lost in the last 10 years --when I saw that --I knew a loss was coming--but it didn't always..
