Oldude was somehow offended because I expressed my opinion that athletes being paid shouldn't be called "student athletes" anymore. I believe that once an athlete receives a payment and signs a contract to play any sport they should be considered professionals now. That's my opinion. But nobody is "starting fights" geez... I also believe that this "portal" is being used as some sort of free agency like MLB has. Where a school such as South Carolina or Uconn can lose players because players are going to the highest bidder now.. "Student" first athletes never did this before because they didnt have NIL or portals. That's all I am saying. No fights lol. [/QUOTE]
