1.a pocket billiard game consisting of a rack of red balls, and a number of other colored balls. You must make a red ball to shoot at a colored ball.
2. That's the value of the spending bill before congress.

1. a billiard/pool game
5. Kansas?
6. Ramses?
8. Prolly a trick question. I would say Pennsylvania, but it's a Commonwealth, so I'll go with New York?
10. He didn't spoil the child. Disciplined his son, supposedly the same way he was brought up, with a switch.
11. Fleetwood Mac has 3/2. Mick Fleetwood, Lindsay Buckingham, Jon McVey, Christine McVey, and Stevie Nicks. I know Nicks is kind of a "moon child"/ witch, never really heard Christy described that way, but it wouldn't surprise me. Anyway that's my guess.
12. USA, and we oughta vote them out of office.

13. He's a New York Times reporter who has been subpoenaed to testify in a legal case about articles he wrote based on leaks of CIA information. It's unclear how this will play out. The U.S. attorney general has said the government won't force reporters to reveal confidential sources of information, but a court has ordered Risen to testify anyway. Whether he will be asked by the court to reveal his sources is unknown. Stay tuned.

1..Larger table with 2 sets of balls, red & multicolor, with 6 pockets like regular pool. Drive & reno capture it best, since both wasted their lives betting on their skill.

2..Drive again, leading 5 in the new national budget. Funny, it's the same as my teenage allowance.

3..The VAUC quartet indicate that they are the 2 official languages among Afghans. Dari is a variation of Iran's tongue.

4..Reno is alone in losing his Florida residence to vicious bankers.

5..Reg heads up a 4some indicating Dorothy & Toto's homeland.

6..While there is uncertainty here, generally it is a Ramses who is considered the reigning guy who is in place during
Exodus. Pony is among 4 who get credit. Geordi is included despite his eccentric numbering system, but what can you
expect from a fellow who grew up thinking Pig-Latin was America's official tongue?

7..Portuguese water dog or spaniel are both OK. A water labradoodle is not. Knights & Pinot share credit.

8..We don't insist on the state/commonwealth distinction here, so don't let Meyers trickery muddle your cognition.
The other guys are reg & reno with Pa.

9..Drive plus 3 get Caspian right. Others are just Dead wrong.

10..Six of you study child rearing behavior.

11..Meyers does successful deduction, though ignorant of a crucial fact. "Sisters of the Moon" was a Fleetwood Mac release.

12..South Africa--I am alone in getting credit.

13..See rbny, for his usual fine detail.
