14. Polio
15. Jewish students (I know it was founded and financed by Jewish

......people. However, I thought it was founded as a response to the quota
......system being practice by most universities back in the forties and
......earlier. I thought it had no quota system for anyone and welcomed
......all. So maybe the answer is no ethnic groups. If you can imagine the
......fools who did not enroll Dr. Isaac Asimov and Dr. Richard Feynman
......because they had enough Jews.)

#23 wants to know where is Upink.
She is enjoying her new Amazon Fire. She said I should ponder the ambient temperature this evening. Then I should watch a rerun instead of lurching about not doing a thing.

21..Put an"s" before tantan and an "e" after.

22..You offer 'Independence"; close, but the meaning would be "the beginning of independence" or "escape from".

23..An '87 tune called In the Heat of the Night by a Canadian(?) that made it to #6 here.

24..In his early days, it was the only commercial ever by this giant .

25..You offer "9", but the truth is (9squared divided by 27)cubed - the minimum % tip customary after your dinner=x.

24. Since it's #24 I'll guess "Say Hey" Willy
25. A point of some disagreement. My answer is 15 but waitstaff would argue 20.

18? (For large parties the minimum assessed is 18% with additional added for superior service. Personally more intimate dinners the amount I leave is what the server earned by insuring our food was properly prepared, hot, and served in a timely manner. Also they must provide the proper amount of non-intrusive attention. I am so easy to please! But then I am a generous tipper ... or not!)

All well and good, VTC, but you don't follow your conclusion by completing the equation.
And NCor, we just want a number, but you become a wind tunnel. The"customary minimum" is not the same as your
personal cognitive convolutions. Sheeeeesh.

25..Thank you, Knights, for not being dismayed about the real tough math involved. Twelve does it.
Go RU; beat Syracuse.

22..Liberation Day...not from Battista, but from Spain.

23..Hope Upink was able to resume her concentration. It is Bryan Adams.

15..NCor, the question just asked for"attracts", not about quotas or whether other groups attend. Several of you with Jews.

14..Ruffian leads 6 with polio.

16..VTC is highlighted for teeth & feet.

17..Geordi & VTC with Australia.

21..credit to NCor for instantaneous.

25..The only ad Elvis ever appeared in.

A message to the displayer of TEBOW TIME (which I would prefer sending as a PM, but in our new website
I don't know how to send them). We now know the Broncos will be in the playoffs, so Tebow can redeem
an ineffective performance. From my view, Tebow was undermined by his coach's poor play-calling. The several
times McGahee makes a good gain, the next play invariably calls for a repeat, to no avail. Phooey.

18..And as I answer, It IS January, geordi, Janus.

19..I confess, geordi, to being curious how you remember that piece (Zsa Zsa) of obscurity.

20..A few of you with Abe, and Knights specifies the actual invention.

I didn't, per se. But about 2 weeks ago, ZsaZsa was written up in the paper again for going back to the hospital (and assumedly, losing another body part). The article noted that she had won Most Glamourous Actress. I had to figure it was the only 'acting' award she ever won.

Can you imagine the fame, money, and attention Zsa Zsa would command in today's market?
