NCor, try to institute a little relativity.. The phrase, "Not real far", doesn't convey "right around the corner". In comparison to the size of These United States, 300 miles is not real far. And I get that that is your ...um, subtle way of raising your hand.

No, not Peyton Place, but close. PP was Grace Metalius.

No raising of the hand. I lived 15 miles NW of Saint Louis in Saint Charles, MO. Since you said not real far from Saint Louis, it baffled me why I could not think of the answer, so I researched it. Ergo, no raising of the hand.

P.S. I no longer need to "bold" everything. I got a new PC with a HUGE monitor allowing me to view print at 180% of normal size and still keep everything on the screen.

A rainy morning, a good time to award credit.

1..The NY Times in a recent sports section had a feature on boat-tailgating before games at the U of Washington.
Perhaps geordi & zorro read it.

2..NCor identifies Fiat.

3..Fairview begins 4 of you with the laugh riot called AIRPLANE.

4..Bringing folks who didn't want to live under Castro, Fairview & NCor.

5..Several of you with Chuck Yeager, a man's man, I'd guess.

6..The Doobie Bros, WHAT A FOOL BELIEVES---Fair, K9 & UPink.

7..To complete the line in the hint properly, it should be "Deutscher", but I'll assign credit to pap & VAUC anyway.

8..Many remember the rescue-from-a-well event.

9..Legoland, among all the other parks in central Fl. We await pap49's review.

10..A trio with being arrested for protecting abusive priests.

11.."I am deeply sorry." Zorro manages to castigate me and indirectly answer the question. Three others too...well. without the castigation.

12..Meyers at his most imaginative--House of the Rising Sun.

13..He's to play Tonto in THE LONE RANGER, and Fair got a sneak preview.

14..VAUC has many worthy suggestions. Sadly, none is for Parrish.

15..A female wasp, from that guy who just got a huge monitor. Though what he wants with a lizard,
I simply do not know.

16..Another way out snare from Meyers. the subway system.

17..Typing in happy retirement in Equador is Fairview.

18..Now if you go by geordi, it could be Pamela Cruz. NCor tells us it's Nelson.

19..UPink shoots and scores with "say it", form the Tiger Lily CD by Natalie Merchant.

20..Birth contol clinic (or planned parenthood) say a quartet of you.

21..Andy Murray moves past Roger Federer as #3 in the world.

22..I'm not overly impressed with an answer of "I", when we have geordi honing in on Jim Backus.

23..Chicago Tribune

24..My highest award goes to those who typed "Cumference".

25..A half-dozen on The Firing Line.

A stupendous percntage, you fine Bonies. Perhaps I should retire...to Equador, of course.
