Bertelsmann Music Group; Sony, Comcast, and some private equity firms acquired MGM, however,

VAUC, please edit the questions out.

2..For her many services throughout the African continent.

4..It is a picture studio, but other than mentioned yet.

5..Acting on behalf of the environment. How so?

9..She is no pawn of the male establishment.

19..We're talking weeds here.

23..It is kin to one of our own holidays next month.

24..Neunzehn

Kind of amazing that the first go-round almost always yields 18-20 correct.

WC - Better spell check #2.
Thanks, VTC, sometimes I can't read my own writing. It's fixed now, and the answer to #2 is Nobel Peace Prize.

1..Several of you know of the future Brooklyn Nets.

3..John Adams, which VAUC identifies.

4..NCor is right about the date of '89 for the acquision of Columbia.

5..Confirmed to protect the ozone layer.

6..The proper form is Richard Cardinal Cushing. VTC here.

7..Geordi alone with "follow the arrows".

8..Somebody is purloining pigs. Fair & NCor.

9..Chess champ. Late edition snags by VTC & NCor.

10..Five of you correctly pick Andy Rooney.

11..Seen as a Mafia like warlord group in Pakistan, replicant & crown place it.

12..The Portuguese, Cabrillo; geordi knows him. Two of you thought it was Sylvester Stallone.

13..Fairview has flogging.

14..Geordi types roleo.

15..Duplicate, not contract, bridge; a quartet here.

16..Mrs. C...six with good memories.

17..Three beat the Dickens out of you.

18..To aerate or carbonate, furnished by seven posters.

19..Ivy, oak and sumac are often spoken about together.

20..Southern Povery Law Center, NCor & VAUC.

21..You could have Witch Doctor, as Fair had, or something with Chipmunks, as five others did.

22..Uranus' moons, cheers for NCor.

23..I overlooked geordi's response. Several Latin American countries celebrate the discovery of America. This year on Oct. 14.

24..10/19

25..You were, understandably, all over the place. Spending award (after Christmas) is Halloween. Kibitzer, though mysteriously intertwining
24 & 25, has it.

Let me rephrase. Yes, he played contract bridge, but one gets an international rep by exceling at duplicate.
