And p.s, NCor...please no more inserts of that length (though I enjoyed it).

Sorry it was much more compact upon entry but soon as I clicked on post reply ... yikes it exploded! However, I will cease and desist. I found your question interesting and wondered about other countries. I was surprised at some of the positions regarding the niqab in some of the Islamic countries. Ignorance on my part.

I shall respond to your busy selves.

1..A secondary analysis is not the same as a replication attempt. The researcher often is examining more than one set of data with the intent of going new places. Often no new field work is involved. Say, said researcher is looking at census data AND also wine sales by region, for he thinks he may be able to posit a link between community type, ethnicity and consumption.

2..Codger gives us the court apparatus, and the act also provides for the attorney general.

3..The Enterprise, four of you.

4..The place where wind comes sweeping down the plain.

5..Geordi and NCor have Devil's Tower.

6..Argumentum ad Hominen (How did this get by you?)

7..Several Standard Oil's appear in your typing.

8..Tony Curtis--rbny leads no less than 6 of you.

9..Pap49 (who had been absent a looooooong time) provides the Dire Straits homage. The name wanted is Chichester, awarded a knighthood.

10..VTC & NCor snag the chinook.

11..Woody Guthrie, specified by NCor.

12..C.Phonograph B.S.

13..Ted's sole daughter, Pinot & Kib.

14..Geordi has Lehmen Bros.

15..Mneumonic, terif is first of 4.

16..Alfred Hitchcock Presents, thanks to rbny & geordi.

17..Saudi women is correct...crown & VAUC.

18..Many "TheRaven" identifiers.

19..Fairview rightly sees a connection in Q7.
Christian passed himself off as one "Clark" Rockefeller, acting as a psychopathic con man. It took years, but he was jailed for murder and other stuff.

20..Phone box

21..Fairview, a fellow lapsed Catholic, with High Holy Days.

22..Thank you ed4...hope you enjoyed The Robe.

23..A plane crash in Africa, rbny + 3.

24..Sir Francis Drake and 4 folks so type.

25..Choose Abbey Road or Let It Be, as your tastes dictate. Three ventured this, and see VAUC for details.

Now NCor, once requested to refrain from lengthy extraneous stuff, I'd like it if you (as the sociologists say)
"take the role of the other". In this case, you'd think, "Wirechief still must scan up and down everybody's answers to 25 questions in order to award credit.
So, since half the page is just in his way, I'll edit it out."
That would have delighted me, ol' chap. Regards to UPink.

VTC, I admit I'm a hopeless retrograde who finds browsing good for the soul. I will continue frequenting video stores and libraries as long as this culture hangs on.

Joshua Slocum is the first person to sail single-handedly around the world.

Francis Chichester was the first person to sail single-handedly around the world via the "clipper route" and the fastest.
