I'm using an altered format, presenting this test in 2 postings, instead of a post-and-reply.
I hope it eases my awarding-of-merit ending.

Still, no research and no posting of questions please.

Too little info? Now be fair; if other posters catch them, then there's enough info.

Now that you've supplied "Ruby", it makes sense to me. Ruby Dee - Ruby "D" !

Finishing up...

1..Yes the Joe McCarthy & Huac days. See especially zorro. JR & VAUC have it also.

2..JR, VTC, & NCor with American Online (AOL)

3..Hey Silly 'ol bear (& VAUC), I give you 2 words, you give back one. All of you, pay attention to the lines, like NCor says.
And how do you squeeze Carmen Miranda in? Geordi, ed4 & NCor with Abbe Lane.

4..Meyers, geordi and ed4 discover a new movie with Leonard DiCaprio as the dead FBI guy.

5..Nashua says Zorro.

6..Those of you (or those of you with kids) who grew up on The Electric Company know that the show continuously
threw out a non sequitur, "And what about Naoni?" Naomi Watts is a movie star. And I have no idea whether
the several of you who did plug in Naomi were channeling the TV show or just made a wild guess.

7..Akita works, proclaim 4 of you.

8..I'm not used to ed4 being so uncertain up and down the line, but he's always right, including Rod Steiger.

9..Geordi being ultra cultured with Pantagruel.

10..Like pap says, toile.

11..Now VTC, I never ask a question whose answer is the same as the question. Go with scampi...or the other several dishes mentioned.

12..After VAUC's assist, Pinot hits a 3...well, no, his foot was on the line for not adding that Ruby Dee is wife to Ossie Davis.

13..Iran is right there on your maps to the left of Afgh. Just tons of you read it correctly.

Before the sun sets in central Florida, you'll get "B".
