Gampel NCAA

Has the date been set for the womens NCAA first round should it be at Gampel?? With the Mens tourney in hartford thurs/sat I am expecting the Women would play Friday/Sunday so I may attend... Does the Committee think that way ?

I received a mailing from UConn a week or ten days ago with an order form, which I sent in.

The form and the mailing indicated it could be either 3/22 and 3/24 (Friday/Sunday) or 3/23 and 3/25 (Saturday/Monday). I called the Athletic Ticket Office today and was told that they won`t know until March 18 when the pairings are announced.

For what it is worth, UConn has had Saturday/Monday for the last four seasons, presumably ESPN calling the shots (early game Saturday, evening game Monday).
