Either would be an excellent use of his time. Every UConn fan should be hoping that Luke and Kimani get great head coaching gigs in high-potential markets with a monster salary bump. It makes us a more attractive market for the best assistants in the country long-term. Coaching trees are important.

I get the emotional aspect of this response, but he’s earned it.

I wouldn’t put any weight into the specific things anyone said- they were running on no sleep and adrenaline and pure emotion. And, it was wonderful!

I wouldn’t hold anyone to what they say in the afterglow of the championship. It will wear off, they’ll start having the conversations, and then we’ll know.

Agreed... But they did kind of move my assessment of a cumulative 3% chance of getting all three back to a much rosier 4.5%. And I wouldn't want any of them to act counter to their own best interests. I just selfishly hope those interests lead them back for another year.
