Tulane has been surprising -- or not, considering they have a history of being all over the place.

In a key Southland matchup from Huntsville TX, the Wildcats of Abilene Christian have pushed ahead of the Bearkats of Sam Houston State. Currently on a 15-3 run to take a 9-point lead with under 3:00 to play.

It's almost unbelievable that Nicholls had Abilene Christian on the ropes a few weeks ago, and it took a somewhat lucky 3 by ACU just to get that game to overtime.

I may have shortchanged a WAC showdown--0-4 Cal Baptist vs. 1-5 Chicago St. (1-18 overall, in the running as always for worst team in D1). CBU up 35-26.
