UConn women’s basketball gameday

"Tempo, tempo, tempo: UCF leads the AAC in field goal attempts allowed per game, with opponents averaging of just 53. The Knights’ stout defense has allowed UCF to challenge UConn for the conference lead in fewest points allowed per game (UCF 53.7, UConn 55.0). Meanwhile, UConn’s offense averages an AAC-best 66 field goal attempts per game, making Wednesday’s game a clash of philosophies."

This is a good test for UConn. Anticipate a physical, relatively low-scoring game. Anticipate that this may not be a blowout, but rather, will unfold like a good old-fashioned basketball game, with the teams maintaining a respectable point differential. Work hard to win, without the expectation that we will be up by 30 early in the 3rd quarter. Be patient. Adjust to and don't get frustrated by UCF's propensity to run the clock.
