Memphis 41.
UConn 16

I'll spend the am at the Harwinton Sports Complex watching some competitive 7th grade girls travel BB and then home to yell at TV -

Go Huskies!!

UCONN 24 Memphis 20. For a change we get the early turnover and score. Memphis then plays tight as conference title on line, Huskies gains confidence as game goes on and holds off Memphis for the upset!! Go Huskies!!!

48-20 Memphis

Boyle throws his first TD pass (to Geremy Davis who finishes with 100+ yds receiving), Newsome returns a kickoff past the 30, either TE Bloom or McQuillan has a catch over the middle, Joseph gets a sack, and Obi almost gets an INT. Post-game, HCBD somehow compares the game to a Thanksgiving dinner.

the score will be whatever memph deems appropriate

considering last yr final; this wont be niiith

boyle has a 'casey-esque' coming out party. throws for 320 yards. Davis decides to end his drought and catches for 150 yards and 2 TD's.
uconn wins 24-17 and stuns memphis. puts the AAC celebration on hold.

UConn 35 - 10.

Gameplan is simplified. UConn actually uses our powerful running backs. Boyle leaves with a good taste in his mouth. Whitmer gets late 4th quarter action and adds a TD to the total. The defense plays huge. UConn has another "WTF" win under its belt. Husky Nation's belief is restored. UConnDan97 puts up some over-the-top, meaningless post about perserverence and the true heart of a Husky...

34-3 Memphis. I think the team has an eye towards the off season. Hope I am wrong.

.-.
As far away from Memphis as possible today. :)

Yup. Wish that happened. We all do. Although it was another WTF game...

Apparently, the post-game post that I'm going to put out there is about perserverence and the heart of a Husky when referring to those of us who watched the full 60 minutes. And I was right; it feels pretty meaningless...

I feel ya. My wife kept asking why I was watching until the end. I told her she'll remember this when it turns around. Whenever that is. I will now delete the game from my DVR. That will give me some closure.

I watched 30 minutes of it. However there is a big difference between sitting at the stadium and being forced to watch it....and sitting at home with a remote control and other games on.

Looks like I made the right call. Much more fun watching Wisconsin win in a sports bar in Appleton.
