Wish I could be there but nevertheless very much looking forward to the pre-game show on SNY at 6:30 pm and hoping that Kara and Gary and the rest of the announcing team are back for this, the last year on SNY.

My main area of interest tonight in the game will be the post position and looking for Jana and Ice to have solid games. As for the rest of our players, it will be a better opportunity to see both growth and improvement from last year and to have a closer look at our frosh, whoever is able to play. Then there is Paige. Just watching her any game is pure pleasure for both the casual fan as well as a devotee of the sport. She has a precision on offense that is just remarkable, an economy of energy, and a sixth sense of the play that will happen after the play that is currently happening.

I feel a strong defensive effort coming from the team tonight, exciting transition baskets, good chemistry and a whole lot of energy and fun. Waddya think?

I’d love to see Gary and Kara on the pregame show too. Sadly, though, where I am in New Mexico, the SNY feed starts just before tipoff. I’m still counting down the minutes though.

I'm looking forward to seeing Morgan. I'm hoping she'll add another Swiss Army Knife to the lineup.

I'm making fish and chips in honor of Boston. I'd have Boston baked beans, but I just made those a couple of weeks ago.

Signed, someone who has five Swiss Army Knives and two Subaru Outbacks.

Since @cferraro04 isn't ready, here's a thumbnail of the BU lineup.

They have a speedy little guard, Giannaros, 5'5", who averaged 23 pts last season and is the lone senior on the roster. She looks like a handful for Kaitlyn and KK, and she shoots well from beyond the arc: 5 for 8 last game. After her, it's mainly freshman and sophomores, a few six footers -- Schwertner, Warren, Erickson, Bentley and Gallegos -- and a bunch of little guards. It looks like the key is to control Giannaros and see if any of the others can make up for the scoring. There's a couple of bigs, Adler and Semenova, who didn't play in the previous game. They ran a 9 player rotation, though 13 players got on the floor at some point.

BBallF, I'll do my best to carry your positive vibes into the XL Center in just a few hours, and I'm pretty sure there'll be dozens if not hundreds of other Boneyarders in the house with me.

After watching the Ft. Hays game, this evening I'll be most looking forward to see progress from Jana and Ice, and I'm excited to watch Morgan play live for the first time. I expect she'll be a vital piece in whatever success the Huskies have this season (and the next, and the next...).

Cheers, everyone! Go, Huskies!

Scrappy guards are our downfall (Harmon, Hidalgo, Citron, Dyaisha (once Nika fouled out). Hopefully KK can handle her, she’s probably the fastest guard defender we have.

Thanks deacon. Very jealous. Anxious to hear about the crowd and the energy at Gampel.

We can't overlook Kaitlyn. She is a very good defender and I think we will see that tonight.

She was struggling on the perimeter defensively vs Fort Hayes. I’ve watched her defense before at Princeton, and Fort Hayes was definitely chemistry/getting used to her new role. Hopefully some of that rust shakes off.

Agree. It's really hard to judge anything right now and even though they have been playing in practice and played over the summer there is pre and early season shape and then there is in season shape. We need her to be a lock down defender because that will keep her on the floor for the other beneficial aspects of her game.
