Guessing Lin Dunn, GG's former boss at Purdue, had some input on this. Dunn is still a special assistant to the coach at Kentucky. Double brain trust for Coach Kyra Elzy to help maximize Rhyne Howard, Treasure Hunt, etc. For GG, one more notch in the current resume builder for one more shot at an HC job.

That could be an underrated move.

UK is a team that the right transfers could move up considerably. I'm not sure they had all that much around Howard and lost some seniors anyway.
