Lured away from Duke by Texas, presumably for a bigger paycheck. I guess
there's a lesson in there somewhere.

I always felt she was a Good Coach and Good Fit at Duke…Cant recall why she left in addition to the bigger salary and Texas program offers…was their additional reasons ?

Bummer she never got another chance to be a head coach after her Texas years. She doesn't get enough credit for the spectacular stretch she had at Duke. Had winning records vs. Pat and Geno at Duke and her teams were steadily in the title hunt from 2001-2007. The landscape of women's basketball would've been markedly different had she stayed at Duke--one of the big "what ifs" looking back 15 years. I wish her the best and hope she stays active in the women's basketball world.
