Williams, of Sparks, Nev., took the court with her mother Therese, sister Kayla, niece Karter and brothers Matt and Dom.

I’m guessing that her dad, Matt Williams, must have had to work. The former Nevada-Reno MBB player attended the games at UCLA and Gabby’s homecoming game at Nevada earlier in the season.

For the Williams family of Sparks, Nev., the University of Nevada’s Lawlor Events Center in Reno is like a basketball home.

Father Matt played at Nevada-Reno 1987-91 and has been a fixture on the local basketball scene as an AAU coach since the early 1990s. Daughter Kayla was a member of the Nevada women’s team 2008-12, so the family was at all of her home games.
