Man, watching Gabby maintain her composure, answering questions through her tears, so strong yet so vulnerable. She played her guts out. Hard for me to watch but testimony to the extraordinary young women she is.

Gabby was the game's high scorer, out jumped a 6'7" center at the tip off, had 8 rebounds, 4 blocks and 2 assists. I cannot remember a game all season when she did not excel with her superior game knowledge and high octane energy. She literally kept us in this game for long stretches. To me she's the "game heroine" regardless of the unfavorable outcome.

My feeling that Gabby should have been a 1st team All American was reinforced by her performances throughout the tournament. There seems to be no doubt who the leader of this team was on and off the court. She is just Wow!!
