First, when Jalen and Al were both out, defenses keyed on Vital as our primary remaining perimeter threat.  Seeing the opposing defenses best defenders instead of 3rd or 4th, he was ineffective.  Even with Al back, Vital is having a hard time getting the open looks he used to, or hitting them.  He is a catch and shoot player.  He is terrible creating his own shot by shooting off of his dribble (unlike Gilbert and Jalen).

Second, Sid has to learn how to play as a SF.  He has to improve his handle and his outside shot, as well as penetration off the dribble.  That's the only position he is going to play on this team going forward.  Against USF, UConn couldn't go three guards.  Their SF is 6'7" and 220.  Sid is 40 pounds lighter but at least has the height.  CV would be posted up every time down the floor.

Looking at next year:
1. Al - Gaffney - B Adams?
2. Vital, Bouk, B Adams
3. Sid, Bouk, B Adams or player to be signed like Precious.
4. Akok, Polley, ?
5. Carlton, ?

There are zero minutes for CV at the 3 next year or for Sid at the 4.  So neither of them are playing many minutes at those positions now.  Adams is the player who will swing between 2-3 and so that's what he's been doing.
