Future American tournament location

Wondering if anyone knows when the contract between the AAC and Mohegan Sun for the latter to host the women's conference tournament expires?

If beyond this year, I would think the conference would be looking for an escape clause.

On the post-game show last night, Wayne Norman hinted at the Big East WBB tournament being at Mohegan Sun, so I cannot imagine that both would be there (and why, geographically). I also figure that, as part of their exit fee, UConn might have paid any Mohegan Sun contract penalty. That's just conjecture on my part.

It is reported the women's tourney will be in the same venue as the men and the AAC has a 3 year deal with a venue in Fort Worth area.

The brand new Dickies Arena in Fort Worth. Nice venue, but attendance for the WBB tournament would be a concern.

The AAC should do something similar to what the ACC did with the men's tournament....... 2 years after Maryland left the league... they put the tournament 15 minutes from Maryland's campus.
