One of the dumbest plays ever. LSU making long plays on Florida’s corner blitzes didn’t help either. Three turnovers by Kyle Trask took him out of the Heisman running as well. Brad’s son Max Johnson looked good for LSU. Brutal loss for Florida.
Trask threw away any hope of a Heisman. He looked pretty darn ordinary under pressure.
Ordinary was the wrong word. He made some great throws but also made a bunch of bad decisions with pressure. He wasn’t the best player in the nation in a must win game. That’s all.
Hard to believe that Florida had so many total yards and lost. They still had a chance to tie at the end. Alabama looks like a juggernaut and will be tough to beat especially with DeVonta Smith. Should be a fun game to watch but might turn into a blowout for Alabama.
Yup, Alabama is at a totally different level. But, you never know in CFB. Nobody has figured out how to take away their big play weapons and slow the game down. LSU did a great job on Florida, frustrating them with pressure and jumping routes. They gave up a lot of yards but contested them where they like to go. You have to pick your poison with Bama and understand you will get beat on D, it’s just limiting the points explosion by where you get beat.
