Agree, after she pitches in about 20 points, take her out.Just to play it safe, I'll bet she'll be on a pitch count (restrict/monitor her minutes) for a while.
You know the coaches want to have her as healthy as possible going into the final turn, as they head for the wire. Morgan indicated that they are going to try a new brace. We'll see how that goes.
Morgan not in uniform.
I'm sure it's about giving the knee the rest it needs - she looks very comfortable, involved and happy - just in street clothes.Silly to risk her after one, limited practice IMO. Hope it is not because the knee blew up.
SC would be silly to prepare for a game "without" Morgan IMO.My bet: Geno knows whether or not Morgan will play. He is going covert and gaming SC by making them prepare for both possibilities.
Sort of like getting KML back for that Duke game in 2013 so she would be ready for the MSG contest against #21 Cal 5 days later. It's scary when Geno says yesterday before the Memphis game, "We don't know when we'll get Morgan back?"
Her health can determine the rest of the 2016 season!
Morgan would have to be back by the E. Carolina game on the 6th to be ready for SoCar on Feb. 8th!
Her presence changes UCONN's outlook dramatically!
Yeah, our margin for error is way bigger with her in the lineup. I want Morgan to get healthy, finish the season as an All-American, win a 4th championship, and come back to try for a 5th.I think we win the NC without her, but I wouldn't want to find out.
