  1. Fouls on the first 2 Ptown possessions leave us down 4 zip less than a minute in, and Samson's foul sent him to the bench very quickly.
  2. Some sloppy play by our guys early, but still managed to take our first lead just under 4 minutes in. Just a point at 8-7, but cutting off the Fryers early success was important.
  3. Solo with two early 3s, and unfortunately, also with 2 early fouls that put him on the bench barely 4 minutes into the game. He would not play again until our last possession of the half.
  4. McNeeley's 3 at 12:20 might have been the prettiest long distance delivery I've seen this season. His form, the arc and rotation of the ball and the dead center swish. Someone needs to can that sequence and use it to instruct kids how to shoot from distance.
  5. Alex missed his first 3 FG attempts, and I worried that his recent slump was still in force. Not to worry, he didn't miss again in the first half, and ended the half with 9 points and the game with 17.
  6. Mahaney in at 2:45. Didn't play at all last game. And he misses the front end of 1 and 1 at the line. Here comes Diarra to replace him at 2:02.
  7. The story of the first half was 61% from the floor for the good guys and the overall play of Reed, with 15 points, 9 boards and 3 blocks, and Diarra with 8 dimes.
  8. Both teams playing sloppy 3 minutes into the 2nd half, and the sloppiness continues through the 12 minute mark, except for Reed, who is still on fire.
  9. Karaban seems to have worked his way out of his recent slump. Had a workmanlike game last night. Nothing fancy, but as his shooting touch returned, and he continued to do the dirty work inside that carried him through his tough stretch.
  10. 2nd half was sloppy by both teams. Except for Reed, who ended up with 24 points,18 boards, 6 blocks & 2 steals.
  11. All 10 Fryers who played, scored. Only 6 Huskies guys did, but 4 of our guys were in double figures, compared to 1 (Pierre with 10) for Ptown.
  12. Terrence was our only bench player to score a point. Other than Stewart (0 of 2) he was the only bench player to take a shot from the floor. Mahaney did miss the front end of a 1&1 from the line.
  13. Both teams were mediocre from the line. (mid-60s percent range).
  14. We shot 59% from 2 and 45% from 3, while the Fryers went 40% from 2 and from 3 as well.
