Everyone get wishes of Joy, Health, & Prosperity for this Holiday Season. Rather than singling out out assorted 'Yarders for special gifts, Santa coachcap doles out the following to those affected by the Newtown tragedy:
To the families of the departed & the survivors: know that you are in the thoughts & prayers on Husky Nation.
To the first responders: May you get the support to recover from the recoiling horror that you witnessed as you entered S.H.E.S. that morning.
To Gov. Dan Molloy: Many thanks for your leadership in this period of trying to restore normalcy to the survivors.
To the Town of Monroe: Thanks for your generosity of bringing a mothballed school up to code to house the S.H.E.S. students.
To all who donated funds, gifts, time, or services in any way to help Newtown get through this grieving period, may your kindness be returned to you a hundred fold.
To Susan Herbst: An endless cornucopia of strength& resolve for your inspiration of focus last weekend on Newtown rather than outside distractions.
Newtown is family. In periods of turmoil, families band together for comfort & survival. This is the inner strength that helps us to rise above despair.
Much has been said this week about acts of kindness. Let's all begin by bring joy & comfort to our own family members.
In the spirit of the holiday season I wish you all safe travels if visiting loved ones. May your holidays be blessed with the peace that comes with fellowship. May your gifts of kindness bring a touch of joy
to those in need.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays. However you spend this holiday season, May you be blessed with many more. CAP
