Ray Allen's perspective on Geno's greatness:
“When you look at what Geno has done in the last 25 years, it truly takes persistence, commitment and dedication to keep these girls at the same mindset,” Allen said. “You’re No. 1 in the country and you haven’t lost a game in a year and you’re playing Morgan State or somebody that isn’t on your radar, how do you get those girls motivated every single night? He did that, and that’s why I constantly tell people that to me he’s got to be the best college basketball coach of all time just for that matter -- that he was able to take these girls and make them who they are because it’s not like the program existed before he came. So, it truly is an honor for us to be in this state and to witness their greatness. And I don’t know if we celebrate that enough, so the best way to celebrate it is to buy tickets.”
