. . . . but certainly I'll go ahead and congratulate you on your own unique kind of "normalcy" (ie appearing in the Final Four), while apologizing for the stinkage of the "pile" we left on the ESPN screen last Sunday night.

No excuses; our senior point guard played scared, our soph/jr shooters took all of TWO 3 point attempts and our two young posts played . . . well . . . young!

Best wishes for health and fun for your guys Tuesday night, and beyond that, whatever occurs for all four teams is all gravy (except for Stewart, in which case we all know history that has never been seen before is pending so the true fan except for those playing against you Tuesday night (assuming) has to hope a new bar of greatness is set. I've always kind of been partial to Maya myself. But no one can doubt the roll call of ONE when it comes to Stewart-esque greatness.

I couldn't agree more. UCONN has set the bar incredibly high and other programs are getting better because of that. Bad for the game? Hogwash!

Good luck in Indy and have fun during this historic run. I appreciate the opportunity to talk WCBB on this site and I'm happy I made it through another season.

Baylorprof and ETT - disappointing end, but that wasn't a chopped liver team that beat you either - they are impressive and I think they will have staying power. And the future looks bright for Baylor - as they say the great thing about freshman is that they become sophomores! Kim has the buildings of a really strong team.

And look forward to the resumed series next year! See you in Storrs.

Before I trade my bball front rail seats for my baseball top middle of the dugout seats . . . congrats. Exempting those fools who diss women's bball, you are unquestionably the greatest team dynasty in the history of collegiate major sports.

I certainly read the tea leaves the way most do in what you face next year with loss of three All-Americans, but I don't think the drop-off will be nearly as significant in March as some are expecting. Your coach WILL have enough talent that with his ability to wrangle (Texan term) all that a player has out of each player and then craft a team out of the individuals he has, UCONN may NOT continue to win consecutive titles, but I fully expect no great drop-off in your Final Four appearances.

EVERY dynasty ends sooner or later. But as long as Geno is your coach, I don't see as much "sooner" as I do "later" in the immediate years ahead.

Grace for your journeys until next Fall when it's time to gear up for another year.

Baylor, I watched the whole game, Opponent had a great game plan and lived by it, Baylor (Mukley) played their normal game---. Baylor is NOT to feel dismayed or ashamed--the Paranormal ultra high frequencies and aberration that occurred with Baylor, ND, USC was a fluke -- teams that normally couldn't win in the normal season won in the Sweet 16 and 8. Baylor was in grand company. Those 3 teams mentioned will be back next year in the same spots --and we'll see the if it was a Fluke or the new Norm.
I loved Maya--nice lady, hard worker, dedicted--and still nice
