Friday Funny: Oddest free throw result you will ever see

It's funny - when I first read the title of your post, I thought you were referring to the free throw form of the girl at the FT line. As I saw her take the FT I was thinking "um... her form looks fine - nothing really unusual about that..." then I noticed the net after the ball hit the rim. Pretty funny!

I've seen backboards shattered and rims bent, but never a net falling off. I guess the player does not have a soft touch.

I bet THAT isn't addressed in the referee's handbook! I think they'd have to let her shoot again after the basket was replaced since it could have bounced in.

That wasn't any net that fell off it was the whole dang hoop, rim and net. If it had landed on a rebounder it could have been disastrous.
