We have had less free throw attempts than our opponents in every game we have played with the exception of the Maine game. The reason for this is simple - we only play Man to Man defense. All the teams we have played have either used exclusively Zone or played some combination. With the way fouls are called these days on the perimeter we need to be able to play some Zone during the course of a game. I know Zone defense has never really been part of our program but even traditional man to man programs like Duke now use it during the course of a game. We are going to need to do the same or we will continue to get less free throw attempts than our opponents.

No, we're fine. Adams and purvis were the only ones attacking the zone and that needs to happen more in order to get calls. We also need to make fts. When we got the ball into brimah and miller they would get hacked and no fouls called. We have for the most pay always shot more fts than our opponents. We need to figure out what a foul is and not do it and also attack more. We're too skilled to stay out on the perimeter the entire game.

Our defense was crap....gave up too many offensive boards and tacky fouls at the end of the shot clock...good learning lesson
