Am I missing something? Shouldn't this be posted on the General sub forum

Yes, you're missing out on free CCSU WCBB games.
FYI, it was announced in the past that CT WCBB team news would be allowed on this forum.
CCSU is a CT WCBB program.
The school is actually older than UConn and was CT's 1st state college which was founded in 1849.
I try to learn something new every day, and I hope that I helped you to do the same.

But my point is that the main forum is for fans to discuss UConn's 11 National Championships; UConn women's basketball recruiting; Coach Geno Auriemma; music; trivia, etc. (copied from the top of this forum). Sorry but I don't remember seeing the announcement that you referred to about other CT WCBB news.
I don't try to learn something new everyday, that ship sailed years ago. And I have previously learned what my remedy to this thread is.

But my point is
From the available UConn archives, the UConn women have played Central CT at least 3 times in its history beating them each time.
They played in 1987, 1988 & 1989, twice at Storrs & once in New Britain winning by 18, 32 & 36 points.
Click on the link below if you would like any more info about those games.

I went to see CCSU play against Wagner, the now 6-0 team in the NEC that's in 1st place.
CCSU lost by 5 points after pulling within 4 points late in the game.
It was a good atmosphere, the gym has a high quality sound system for playing music, and there were 3 different CCSU dance & cheer leader groups providing entertainment.

New BB court flooring was installed in the summer of 2022 for this season.
