I wouldn't be worried. Our upside is manifesting itself very well. As said before, we are amongst those next in line to go to one of the "G5" conferences. We need someone to prevent Rutgers from winning the Big East title in football.

But as he points out... it could be more depressing. When expectations are low it's not hard to take that position. (I resigned myself to the fact back in April the Big East was out as a AQ when it was originally reported).

It's a fair assessment. If it is depressing that is because the reality of BE as a football conference is depressing.
