I just can't escape the thought of indoor water parks bei g a gigantic petri dish which smells like chlorine. This in spite of everyone I know who has gone to these places says they are great.
At least an outdoor park has the illusion of sun and fresh air take it more sanitsry.

Case in point, the last time I brought my kids to an indoor water park we were greeted by a nice gigantic turd from one of the toddlers in the pool.

Mmmm. Indoor water parks. Murky, overchlorinated water with floating diapers and used band aids. No thanks.

The family left the one in MA and took turns for the next 2 weeks vomiting over every surface of our house. Never again.

Great Wolf Lodge is a land cruise with worse food and less adult entertainment. That said, I hate cruises.

My kids begged to go to the one in Gardena a few years ago. The first slide I went down there was a plastic bag floating in the water. I went to pick up Chinese for dinner at a strip mall across the street and a week later they found a dead body in a van in the same parking lot. I still shudder when I think of that place.

(One of the slides was cool, I'll admit.)

Definitely not. But an outdoor one is useful for for about 10 weeks, so I get the reasoning.

Still considering the proximity of Foxwoods to RI beaches they probably could make those 10 weeks work well.
