Fouls will determine the game

SH knows how to draw contact and get to the line. Have to play smart and efficient D vs them to avoid that. Why can't we turn the tables and try to get their Bigs in foul trouble?

I expect this to be a close game with made FTs being a big part of who ultimately wins.

Would be great if we can keep IW/AS on the floor vs their Bigs. Will the refs let them "play"?

The Big East should be known for setting the benchmark of men playing like men. The ticky tack calls need to stop

I know I'm watching with husky-tinted glasses. But these games where the other team is shooting and we're stuck on two fouls baffle me. The old saw about not getting calls if you don't take it inside doesn't apply here.

Yeah, UConn needs to keep them off the free throw line and attack the offensive boards.

SH gets almost 21% of their points at the free throw line - 59th highest amount in D1. UConn gives up 22.5% of opponents' points at the line - 27th highest percentage in D1. Not fouling SH would be huge.

In UConn's favor, they are a dominant offensive rebounding team and SH is 238th in opponent offensive rebounding.

Hopefully UConn comes out on top of these differences.

Did anyone see the foul called on Akok last game? No, you did not. Only the ref did. I don't understand at all. Sometimes the kids are allowed to bang away, other times it seems a premeditated whistle is blown on a phantom call.
