That truly is awesome. Wasn't at least one of his parents a college professor?

I can't even begin to tell you how sad it makes me to remember that we used to have undersized DEs like Osunde, Cody Brown and Trevardo Williams who could actually successfully rush a QB. As opposed to larger prototype DEs who look awesome when photographed.

Medic as always good stuff and intentions from you. As a side maybe get the mods to change the header, as Uyi being labeled as a high principal just sounds bad.
A flip flop of school and high will do wonders for parents of his students should they read this thread. As for some of the students...Like wow man......

Uyi was a senior when I was a freshman and first started paying attention to UConn football. He's one of the guys who really made me become a fan. I vividly remember him coming up with sack after sack the first year of The Rent. One of the guys who really laid the groundwork for UConn as an FBS school.

And as great as all of that is, this is a much bigger and better accomplishment. Congrats Uyi!

I took my kid to see him play when he was younger, then years later he played against him in flag football. He said he was a great guy. Congrats. Go Huskies
