The most memorable moment of her career came when Iowa State took down top-seeded Connecticut in the Sweet 16 in 1999. Zaruba connected on a 3-pointer with about 5 minutes, 20 seconds left to play to set off an Iowa State run , sending the Cyclones to their first Elite Eight appearance in school history.
