What was the crowd breakdown? 60/40 Cuse? Did UConn fans represent?

On tv it looked like UConn had a strong showing considering the fact that Syracuse was planning to play on Thursday because of the double bye, we were just hoping to.

It was probably 60/40 Cuse, but the our fans were just as loud as the Cuse fans.

I thought the Cuse fans were MUCH louder than us today. I was also kinda bummed about the CT turn out. It was at least 60-40 Cuse. I was in 110 and there were maybe 10 CT fans and 30-40 Cuse fans. A LOT of orange in the crowd.

cuse fans obviously stand out more because of the orange, but i would say it was closer to 75-25 and walking from the entrance to my seat it honestly seemed 90-10. as you would expect with that type of ratio, they were certainly louder

I was in 107, where it was more evenly split. There were times were Cuse fans were louder, but we did well noise wise when it mattered too.

The first thing i said walking into the garden was "there is too much orange here". I would say the crowd was about 80% Syracuse. Now i know how the Louisville fans felt during last years championship game.

One thing I will say about every Cuse fan that I spoke to seated around me was that are BUMMING about leaving MSG for Greensboro, every one of them. the game had a bit of a sad vibe to it for a lot of us. Cuse might have 1 more year, but if the APR post season ban goes through for CT that applies to the BET too, not just the NCAA. Today might have been the last time we face them in the BET. Too bad.

We'll miss this rivalry. So will SU. As will MSG and the Big East. Tourney just won't be the same.
